Trusti Calf Feeding Teat with Long Internal Tube
Product Benefits
- Complete Bottom Drainage: Equipped with a long internal feeder tube that reaches the very bottom of the bottle, ensuring the calf drinks every drop without waste.
- Natural Nursing Angle: Allows farmers to feed calves with the bottle held upright or at a comfortable angle, reducing arm and wrist fatigue.
- Anti-Vacuum Air Flow: Features an integrated one-way air valve that prevents the bottle from collapsing and ensures a steady, choke-free fluid flow.
- Premium Quality Teat: Includes a soft yet highly durable rubber teat that perfectly mimics natural suckling, promoting high calf acceptance.
- Boosts Digestion: The natural sucking action stimulates optimal saliva production, which is essential for healthy rumen development and gut function.
- Secure Threaded Cap: The pre-assembled cap tightly seals onto the bottle neck, preventing leaks and spills of valuable colostrum or milk replacer.
Usage & Indications
- Daily Calf Rearing: The ideal feeding accessory for the daily administration of milk, milk replacer, or liquid electrolytes to growing calves.
- Weak Calf Care: Excellent for training young or sluggish calves to suckle effectively without requiring the bottle to be constantly inverted.
- Perfect Compatibility: Specifically designed to fit the standard 4-liter Trusti feeding bottle range and other compatible farm containers.
Dosage & Administration
- Assembly: Ensure the long internal tube is firmly pushed into the underside of the teat cap. Screw the assembled cap tightly onto a pre-filled 4L Trusti bottle.
- Feeding Execution: Present the teat to the calf. Thanks to the long internal tube, you can hold the bottle horizontally or slightly tilted up, and the fluid will safely siphon until empty.
- Volume Monitoring: Track consumption by watching the graduation marks on your Trusti bottle to ensure the correct nutritional dosage is met.
- Sanitation: Unscrew the cap immediately after feeding. Pull the long internal tube out of the cap assembly and flush both parts thoroughly with hot soapy water. Use a dedicated cleaning brush to prevent milk fat buildup, rinse, and air dry.
